4D scoliosis therapy

4D scoliosis therapy

4D scoliosis therapy is based on a personalized, three-dimensional correction method, complemented by a fourth element: the involvement of the central nervous system. Its foundation is that the patterns of correct posture and movement are already present in the nervous system and can be reactivated with specific neurophysiological techniques.

The 4D concept builds on the experience of several well-known and established methods, including Vojta therapy, the Schroth method, DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) and J. Capova basic movement programs.

The exercises used in 4D scoliosis therapy are based on natural human movement development. The goal is to improve trunk stability and increase breathing efficiency by helping the shoulders and hips move into an appropriate position. The exercises specifically activate cooperating muscle groups so the patient can correct scoliosis as much as possible through their own muscle work.
