Spine exercise class

Spine exercise class

It is increasingly common in our society for the body to be exposed to more static load (sitting, standing), a sedentary lifestyle and higher stress levels. These factors affect the movement of our spine, the condition of our muscles and the quality of our posture.

In our small-group spine class we work comprehensively on both the bones and the muscles that make up the spine. Movements performed in varied positions and with different equipment mobilize the joints and soft tissues in every direction and strengthen the muscles.

It is recommended for anyone who wants to prevent problems or improve and maintain the condition of their spine. The exercises benefit not only the spine but also the related joints, and really the whole body. The good atmosphere of the class can also have a beneficial effect on our mental wellbeing.

Recommended from age 16!

In cases of scoliosis or an acute disc herniation, a physiotherapy consultation is required before the first session!

Classes are held in small groups, so our physiotherapist instructor can pay attention to every participant and give individual corrections when needed. Sessions last 60 minutes and include a warm-up, a mobilizing and strengthening exercise sequence, and stretching and relaxation at the end. Regular attendance helps prevent pain caused by poor posture and maintain spinal health over the long term.
